Hello, my name is Μαρία Χναράκη and this year I’m Virtual Island Summit 2020 ambassador of Crete-Greece.
Κρήτη is the 5th largest island at the crossroads of 3 continents, the epicenter of the Mediterranean diet, a νησί where hospitality-φιλοξενία meets nature with φιλότιμο-love of honor as in C R E T E, C stands for Cosmos-Κόσμος, R for Root-Ρίζα, E for Ethos-Ήθος, T for Travel-Ταξίδι, and E for Echo-Ηχώ.
I decided to become a Virtual Island Summit 2020 ambassador because Crete should be present, nissology is a key component at the Greek Archipelagos, plus my expertise promotes cultural interdisciplinarity as, for my work, I utilize Crete as an Amphitheater with innovative brand building strategies.
